Saturday 17 February to Tuesday 17 April : "Journeys Faces of the Tonga" photography art exhibition. Eleanor is a professional photographer, who has been photographing the Zambian people and wildlife for many years. She lived in Zambia for several years and now spends time each year in both Zambia and the United States. Her specialty is capturing the faces of people and she feels a face expresses the hardship or hope in a person. She has photographs of faces from all over the world,  but the Tonga people in Zambia are the faces that are closest to her heart. Eleanor has had solo exhibitions of her photography in the United States and does numerous speaking engagements concerning her photography. Venue:  Choma Museum and Crafts Centre

Wednesday 11 April to Wednesday 25 April : Art Exhibition Roots of Expressions. Prints and sculptures are medias still underrepresented in art, and quite unknown to the public. Alliance Française feels privileged to uplift these Medias and present the works of upcoming sculptors : Agnew Masango, Bisalom Phiri, Tom Phiri and established artist, Lutanda Mwamba, mostly known for his paintings and mixed media pieces. This exhibition is about an encounter between men and nature, how men can shape natural elements without interfering with the media’s identity. Venue: Alliance Francaise
