LISCO and (GIHL) Global Infrastructure Holdings Ltd (the holding company of ISPAT Group) have concluded a Partnership Agreement on October 19th 2003 in Operation of LISCO's plants with the objective of increasing production output subject to achieving certain target figures, reducing costs, implementing modern management techniques, developing value added steel products and improving activities & procedures .

According to the agreement GIHL will participate in process & equipment improvement, training of LISCO's personnel, marketing of extra production. For fulfilling its obligations GIHL will deploy some 100-130 experts/specialists .

The agreement has become effective on 1st of March 2004 for a duration of (5) years extendable for further (3) years .
