2008 CAVB Technical Commission

New vision for Mini volley Program and Sports marketing and partnership

Cairo, Egypt, October 8, 2008- The technical commission of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) will meet on Friday and Saturday 9 and 10 October 2008 to discuss the new strategic CAVB plan. The meeting will be presided by CAVB President Dr. Amr Elwani and attended by CAVB vice presidents Baba Sy, Louis Majore Timba and CAVB Board member Abdelhadi Ghzali and CAVB technical director Mrs. Howyda Mondy.

The meeting agenda will include the technical development plan including the coaches and management courses centrally in the CAVB headquarters and peripherally at the different continental zones.

The meeting will discuss also the Beach volleyball competition strategy and establishing the full African Beach Volleyball competition Calendar. The technical Aids to National Federations will be assessed including the office, sports and financial equipments.

The technical commission will discuss also the proposed new African Volleyball Champions League which will be sponsored by a big TV Channel in the Middle East.
