The Algerian setter Ould Ammar signed to Sete of France

Alger, Algeria, October 6, 2008- The Algerian National team setter Lyes Ould Ammar signed a new professional contract with the French team of Argo- Sete (Pro A) after he passed a successful career with another French club Grenoble. The new club includes also three foreign players from Czech Republic, Canada and Australia.

This club was established in 1963 in the region of Languedoc- Roussillon and won the French league in 2005.

The Algerian setter began his career under supervision of the experienced Algerian cioach Kamal Haddar in the volleyball school of Mouloudia of Alger before playing for ther senior team. His first professional career started at Marseille of France in 2005 before playing for two seasons in Grenoble startinf from 2006.

Lyes Ould Ammar is considered one of the most famous Algerian professionals outside Algeria and one of the key players who seek an African slot at the African qualifications to 2010 World Championship in Italy. Africa has three slots in the finals with Algeria coming as great contenders.
